Light is everywhere and yet it remains a mysterious force that travels extremely fast and cuts through the darkness as shown in God of Light. It's heavily believed that life cannot exist without some form of light and that's definitely what the game implies. In a peaceful and lush world, there are flowers blooming with life from the light of an ancient obelisk. All of a sudden, the light goes out and all the flowers begin to close. Luckily, a being of pure light known as Shiny lingers on and has the power to restore light and life to each of the flowers with the help of your input.
About God of Light
It's commonly thought the first puzzles involving reflecting light using mirrors first originated in The Legend of Zelda and then became frequent in other RPG games. What makes this game interesting is that someone saw those puzzles and thought what would happen if an entire game was based around them. Depending on the layout of the puzzle, they can be quite interesting and challenging. Navigating the beams across the area in numerous ways by being both creative and efficient provides its own reward. In the end, you get to experience a bright and soothing light show.
